Merry Christmas to All!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year at WireMasters! Well, it’s always the most wonderful time of the year at WireMasters, but Christmas time is just extra special! We just hosted our annual Christmas party when we all gather over a scrumptious feast of amazing food, fellowship with our incredible coworkers and hold our WireMasters awards ceremony! We are truly blessed!

The awards portion of our program brings an exciting atmosphere. Employees are recognized for their exemplary results and unparalleled performance that helped the company’s growth over the past year.

The President’s Award is the most prestigious award given. Chosen by President and CEO, David C. Hill the 2017 recipient was Brent Hill. Brent serves as Managing Director of WireMasters Europe and has been an incredible asset to the WireMasters team, especially in 2017 with the DANNEWITZ GmbH & Co (DKG) acquisition. An immense amount of work, time, and travel has gone into this transition, and it would not be possible without Brent’s guidance. Our WireMasters team is extremely grateful for the dedication he has put towards this process, and we couldn’t think of anyone more deserving.

Voted on by fellow employees, the voice of WireMasters, Mrs. Janna Hyle, received the 2017 Employee of Year award. If you have ever made the call to WireMasters, it’s highly likely you have heard Janna’s charming and upbeat voice. We are thankful for Janna and the positive attitude she brings to her position every day!

Employees also voted on two Extraordinary Service Awards, one from sales and one from our warehouse. This year’s recipients were Sales Support, Suzanne Beard and Lasermark Technician, Wayne Chapman. Both individuals are always willing to jump in and help wherever is needed. They truly go above and beyond for their WireMasters family.

Sales awards bring a unique aspect to the program. Jeff Wood was the recipient of our top sales award, The Eagle, while Jeremy Slaughter received the Hawk award for most shipped dollars from new customers. Account Executive Joseph Patterson received the Sales Rookie of year award putting up some of the best sales numbers from a sales rookie in WireMasters history. Also, winning a rookie of the year award was warehouse associate, Matthew Gilliam.

Each WireMasters location awarded a site MVP- Kyle Klein (Mesa), Eric Scalise (Grapevine), Lisa Patterson (Wyre Tek), and Benjamin Ruiz (Querétaro). Several of our employees also received tenure awards for their service at WireMasters. See below for pictures of all award winners.

Thank you to everyone who made 2017 a successful year of positive growth for WireMasters! This year we were awarded a large contract from Gulfstream to support their wiring harnesses and opened a new facility in Queretaro, Mexico to provide for the program. Possibly the biggest news of the year was WireMasters acquiring the European Company, DANNEWITZ GmbH & Co (DKG) and announcing the news at the largest air show, Paris Air Show 2017. Oh, and we can’t forget opening our new larger facility in Mesa, AZ, being named an authorized stocking distributor for Times Microwave Systems, and winning a Boeing Supplier Award. Wow, what an incredible time for growth and blessings surrounding our company!

It wouldn’t be Christmas without our special friend around! Rest assured to we have plenty of help this holiday season to meet tight deadlines around the holidays as our very own Elf on the Warehouse Shelf, Mr. Willie the Wired Elf is back with us for the 2^nd year! It’s without a doubt he shares our love for wire and cable, we even caught him taking ELFIES (AKA Elf Selfies) with our wiring, and as always, his Christmas list is full of our products. Willie helps box up your wire, perform a custom re-spool for you, laser mark that last minute order, and place it in their custom kits to save you time this holiday season! We sure are thankful Santa knows just the perfect elf to send to us!

A friendly reminder that in honor of Christmas we will be closed December 22rd through December 25th and will reopen December 26th. We will also be closed January 1st in honor of New Years and will reopen January 2nd. We appreciate your cooperation during our holiday hours.
